                  Prof Murru Mutyalu Naidu, an eminent academician, researcher, administrator and philanthropist is presently serving as Vice- Chancellor, AdikaviNannayaUnversity, Rajahmundry. Born on 04.08.1958 he perused MBA from Andhra University, Vishakapatnam and PhD from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. He has teaching and research experience spanning over 30 years in engineering and management studies, and with an exposure to different work life environs like administration, research, public and community service.


                  As an able administrator he has excelled and rendered services as Registrar,English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad from 24-03-2006 to 23-03-2007,Executive Director, MANA TV Studios,SAPNET, Department of IT & C, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, from 06.08.2008 to 05.08.2011, Member, Management Committee, KendriyaVidyalaya, SKU Campus, from 2002 to2006 PlacementOfficer, S.K University, from 2003 to 2006 , UGC Addl. Co-Ordinator, SK University from 2002 to2003, Chief Coordinator, Telugu Association of North America (TANA) for World Telugu Convention held in U.S.A.1993, Placement Officer, SKIM, SK University from 1987 to 1992.


                      As a researcher with excellence at global platform, Prof Murru Mutyalu Naidu was instrumental in many research activities during his vast tenure. Eight PhDs were awarded under his guidance. Three Major Research Projects namely, University Grants Commission (UGC) Major Research Project: Quality of work life and Organization Excellence in State Transport Undertaking (STUs), Human Resource Development in Banks, Disinvestments in Public Sector were contributions from his end to mark his research acumen.


             A prolific writer to the core Prof Murru Mutyalu Naidu authored five books titled VIJAYA DRUKPADAM,VIJAYA PATHAM, Managerial Accounting, Human Resource Management in Public sector Undertakings with special reference to Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation and Life Insurance Marketing. He published many research papers in National and International Journals of repute in diversified areas like Management Accounting, Tourism Potential,Consumers-Prospects of Store Brands, B–School Curriculum Development, Leadership in GovernanceMerchant Banking, Human Resource Management in New Millennium, Problems and Prospects of Indian Handloom Industry, Agricultural Sector-Means of Generating Employment,. He has organized few National Seminars in the areas of Quality of Management Education, Impact of Information Technology on Management. He was Member, Academic Senate, Andhra University Visakhapatnam, A.P. (2006 - 2014), Member,Expert Committee & Plan Study Committee, UGC; Member- Indian Society of Labour Economics, Indian Auditing Association, Indian Management Association and many other Professional bodies.


                         Prof Murru Mutyalu Naidu visited U.S.A in 1997 as a Member of Group Study Exchange Team, Rotary International during April -May 1997, visited U.S.A to participate in the Andhra Pradesh - Long Island Business Seminar held in New York, U.S.A from 1st to 5th July 1993 and received civic honours like Honorary Citizenship status conferred by LINDSBORG City Ks State, USA, Honorary Citizenship status conferred by City of Great Bend Ks State, USA, Honorary Citizenship status conferred by PHILLIPSBURG Ks State, USA.


                   Prof Murru Mutyalu Naidu strongly believes that service to humanity is service to God. As a philanthropist hepromoted an NGO: SEVA (Social Endeavor for Village Advancement), organized Medical camps and literacy camps in Visakhapatnam District, organized spiritual and meditation camps in rural areas, published 150000 copies of books containing 108 cherry-picked Telugu poems from the Sri Krishna and SumathiSatakas, that provide right advice regarding good conduct and social valuesand distributed them for free to the students, organized poem-reading contests for students from all over the undivided Andhra Pradesh, undertook the publication of simplified versions of the Ramayana, the Mahabharatha, the Bhagavatha, the Bhagavadgita, the Bible and the Holy Koran.
